What will I be doing?

As a Spa Receptionist, you are responsible for greeting and assisting clients to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n

Greet all guests with a warm and professional manner, embodying the hotel’s luxury standards of service.

\n\nAssist guests with check-in and check-out procedures for spa treatments and services.\nProvide detailed information about spa offerings, promotions, and membership packages.\nAddress guest inquiries and accommodate special requests with efficiency and discretion.\nManage spa appointments using the booking system, ensuring optimal scheduling to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.\nConfirm and follow up on appointments to reduce cancellations or no-shows.\nCoordinate with spa therapists to ensure seamless scheduling and guest preparation.\nHandle billing processes, including cash, credit card, and room charge transactions accurately.\nMaintain accurate guest records and service histories in the system.\nAssist in inventory management of retail products and replenish stock as needed.\nEnsure the reception area and lounge are clean, organized, and stocked with amenities.\nHandle guest feedback and escalate issues to the Director of Spa/SPA Supervisor when necessary.\nReport accidents, maintenance issues, or other incidents\nEnsure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations\nUsing the appropriate telephone techniques and manner.\n

\n\nPrevious experience in a similar role within a luxury spa, hotel, or wellness environment preferred.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to remain calm under pressure and manage a busy reception environment.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nProficiency in booking/reservation software and basic computer skills.\nProfessional, well-groomed appearance in line with the hotel’s standards.\nA warm and approachable personality with a passion for guest service.\nDiscretion and confidentiality in handling guest information.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in hospitality or spa management is a plus.\nFluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.\n\n
