THE JOB:
As a Spa and Salon Manager, you are an essential part of guest experience. Your commitment to ensuring efficient daily operations, and dedication to promptly resolve guest concerns, fosters a welcoming atmosphere for guests that lays the foundation for unforgettable memories that guests can carry with them well past their stay with us. By delivering top-notch guest experiences alongside maintaining a pristine environment, you play a crucial role in elevating the overall guest experience.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Responsible for the implementation of policies, operating procedures, and upholding rules and regulations for all Spa & Salon staff to include commissioned therapists, hourly staff, and leadership members
Conduct payroll, time clock corrections, employee schedules, Spa & Salon product and retail orders and maintain time keeping forms for all spa and salon
Oversee talent development of staff and leadership members, including interviewing, training, performance evaluations, coaching and disciplinary action
Ensure efficient daily operations of Spa and Salon, fitness center safety, staff engagement, and alignment with operational procedures, and performance standards
Manage and monitor operational budget and Profit & Loss review ensuring favorable outcomes through efficient, cost-effective daily operation; including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services and inventory control
Identify and proactively resolve Spa & Salon operational areas of opportunity, inefficiencies or concerns
Maintain employee files, and ensure licenses and certifications are current
Keep the Director informed on all pertinent information related to the department and reports irregularities and problems as they occur along with recommendations for solutions
Maintain all departmental assets including equipment repairs and maintenance and ensures all departmental areas (FOH and BOH) are maintained, clean, and organized
Resolves all problematic occurrences including guest complaints, emergency situations, employee concerns, and payment discrepancies
Ensure timely and professional resolution of any guest related challenges and/or concerns, and maintain efficient staffing and supply levels needed to provide superior service and maximize all revenue opportunities
Perform other job-related duties as requested
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
Is knowledgeable in Spa & Salon services and has a passion for wellness, and selfcare
Has software experience and can proficiently use Zenoti, Eventions, Oracle, Coupa, UKG, Eventions, Workday, and Opera
Currently holds or is able to obtain both a Food Handler’s Card and TAM card
Has a flexible schedule and ability to work various shifts possibly including weekends and holidays
Has 2+ years of previous leadership experience
Has previous leadership experience in procurement, managing payroll, delegation, disciplining, hiring, talent development, and collaboration with senior leaders
