The Spa Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spa and ensuring a high standard of service, aligning with the spa’s luxury standards. This role primarily focuses on supervising the spa team, maintaining a pristine and welcoming environment, and supporting the Spa Manager with operational duties as needed. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Team Leadership: Supervise the day-to-day activities of the spa team, ensuring all associates provide exceptional guest service in line with the spa's standards. Guest Relations: Monitor and enhance guest experiences, ensuring any guest concerns or feedback are handled promptly and professionally. Daily Operations: Assist with scheduling, managing guest appointments, and coordinating the spa's daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery. Spa Cleanliness and Organization: Oversee the cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms, locker areas, and public spaces, ensuring they meet state health regulations and luxury standards. Inventory and Supplies: Support inventory management by tracking product usage and ensuring treatment rooms are stocked with the necessary supplies. Report any shortages to the Spa Manager. Staff Support: Assist in training new spa staff and provide ongoing support to ensure all team members are knowledgeable about spa services, protocols, and luxury service standards. Administrative Duties: Assist with maintaining accurate records for bookings, scheduling, and payroll preparation, working closely with the Spa Manager. Promotions and Events: Collaborate with the Spa Manager to support promotional activities and spa events, driving guest engagement and service excellence. Adherence to Standards: Ensure that all spa services and facilities comply with both luxury property standards and state health regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one to two years of experience in a supervisory role within a spa or wellness environment, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Knowledge of spa treatments, services, and wellness trends. Excellent communication and guest service skills. Experience with spa management software is a plus. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. The Spa Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the spa operates efficiently and delivers unparalleled guest experiences. Success in this role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining luxury service standards, supporting both the spa team and management in creating a world-class wellness environment.
