This Resort is surrounded by an ocean of Ponderosa Pines and gives guests exclusive access to Lake Arrowhead, a reservoir with a surface area of 780 acres. Lake Arrowhead is the perfect location for outdoor adventure enthusiasts and offers a variety of summertime and wintertime activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ziplining, and more. The resort includes a Bar & Restaurant, Spa & Wellness Center, Outdoor Pool & Lake Beach as well as over 23,000 sq. ft of meeting and events space. Overview The Spa Supervisor assists the manager with overseeing all functions of the Spa, Fitness Center, and Recreation areas. Qualifications Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. College degree in recreation preferred. Two-year experience in a supervisory role Previous recreation or fitness background Ability to communicate effectively. CPR and First Aid Certified. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Train all Spa Desk Coordinators in all areas of their job description, including Micros, using Training Activity Checklists and other resources as necessary. 2. Assist Manager and Director with all aspects of the beauty salon and massage services. 3. Assist the Manager with all conference group activities and meetings. 4. Closely monitor all linen ordering, receiving and crediting. 5. Construct weekly schedule for Spa and Fitness Center staff. 6. Responsible for all inventories and preparing the proper purchase orders, to be turned into the Manager or Director. 7. Complete day-to-day payroll, double-checking that all payroll corrections have been made. 8. Develop monthly department meeting agendas and aid in meeting facilitation as necessary. 9. Assist Manager and Director in hiring, reviewing and promoting within the Spa. 10. Maintain managerial training program. 11. Monitor tracking logs, gift certificates, activities engineering. 12. Remain current with changes in the Spa Industry. 13. Successfully manage the operation of the Spa in the absence of the Spa Director / Manager. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $22.54/Hr. - $23.80/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
