Spa Supervisor

About the role:

The Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui is looking for a Spa Supervisor who shares a passion for excellence, conveys a positive attitude and epitomizes honesty and integrity. 

The Spa Supervisor proactively welcomes guests, is knowledgeable about treatments, products and services offered as well as pricing, and scheduling. The Spa Supervisor will be able to perform basic massage treatment.

The position reports to the Director of Spa.

What you will do:

The ability to assist the Director of Spa/ Assistant Spa Manager with the efficient and effective supervision, managing and developing Spa.The ability to ensure Four Seasons Core Standards and Employee Handbook rules and regulations are followed at all times.The ability to interview, train, develop, monitor employee performance and provide discipline for all Spa receptionists, therapists and attendants.The ability to ensure timely and effective performance reviews for the department.The ability to assist the Director of Spa/ Assistant Spa manager in tracking and developing spa statistical reporting.The ability to assist in monitoring all facility and service standards and keep the Director of Spa informed of any operational opportunities.The ability to participate in meetings both inside and outside the company as necessary.The ability to hold regular departmental meetings to assist in communication within the department.The ability to keep the Director of Spa/ Assistant Spa manager informed about the department, all employees' performance, and guests and members' concerns and comments.The ability to convey clear instructions and guidance to staff and establish working relationships that attain a high level of effective employee morale.The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.The ability to perform other assigned tasks and projects.The ability to assist other departments when possible.The ability to maintain a safe and hazard-free environment for all staff and members and promote safety awareness at all times.The ability to conduct regular Standard Testing and maintain the Spa database at 100% each month for Standard Testing.The ability to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in Spa.The ability to oversee spa equipment maintenance and report any repairs immediately to the Engineering department and the Management.The ability to monitor operating supplies for the Spa and generate necessary purchase requisitions following the monthly budget of the departmentThe ability to conduct the accurate monthly retail and inventory of professional productsThe ability to schedule the spa team, especially the spa Therapist, correctly to ensure flexibility and optimum cover during busy times, especially evenings, and to ensure maximum therapist productivity.The ability to schedule training and supervise training with DT and senior therapists/ receptionist and attendant.The ability to develop all operation manuals for Spa and implement training programs to ensure the growth of the department.The ability to give suggestions to the Director of Spa for new spa treatments and promotions.The ability to review all suggestions and comments from staff and guests and make necessary adjustments.The ability to produce monthly OT reports for all Spa staff.The ability to manage the inventory of retail, assist with reordering of products and maximize profitability and revenue generationThe ability to encourage staff to increase spa retail sales and meet monthly spa targets and the budget.The ability to do spa protocol and perform spa treatments. The ability to utilize a log book, spa software and any scheduling chart and communicate relevant information to the staff, organize and schedule shiftsThe ability to report maintenance deficiencies, member concerns, guest comments, glitches, and others to the Director of Spa/ Assistant Spa manager.The ability to ensure therapists, receptionists, and attendants regularly record guest preferences, accurately updating guest profiles.The ability to display a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in dealing with guests and employees; review all suggestions, complaints, and comments from guests and make necessary adjustments.

What you bring:

Must have existing work authorization to work in the country of ThailandProficient reading, writing and oral proficiency in English Language.Strong command of computer applicationsStrong leadership and team management skills. Excellent personal presentation, communication skill and interpersonal abilities.Confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and services. Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively. Proficiency in scheduling and inventory management. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the spa industry. A passion for wellness and providing exceptional guest experiences.

This is a full-time positionThe working hours will primarily be early morning, days, during weekdays and weekends.
