Spa Supervisor - Temporary
Job Description OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:

Salary: $23.95/hr. 
Rosewood Kona Village’s Spa Supervisor will work together with the Spa Manager to manage the hotel’s spa operations, overseeing staff, maintaining cost controls while ensuring the highest level of personalized, friendly, and outstanding guest service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•        Provide dynamic services to ensure guests are “wowed” by Rosewood hospitality while overseeing strategic and day-to-day running of spa

•        Deliver prompt, efficient, and courteous guest service following Rosewood standards of excellence

•        Ensure spa team leaves guests with a lasting impression by treating all guests with the utmost courtesy

•        Ensure all spa bookings are being booked correctly and according to Rosewood standards

•        Maintain knowledge and understanding of each service area and see that programs are continually updated

•        Help monitor a monthly budget for the spa

•        Maintain all inventory and amenities for locker room and front desk operations

•        Coach, train, and discipline team members including sales associates, therapists, fitness and spa attendants

•        Achieve and exceed sales and customer service goals

•        Ensure guests have maximum comfort at all times

•        Resolve any guest requests in a timely, friendly and professional manner

•        Interact with guests always displaying proper etiquette following Rosewood Kona Village standards

•        Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations

•        Total compliance with Rosewood Baha Mar’s standards of operation

•        Recommend tactics to consolidate and streamline spa guest operations

•        Stay current on hospitality best practices and industry trends

•        Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

•       General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.

•       At least two years in a management role in SPA, Wellness, Fitness environment.

•       Highly responsible, organized, and reliable
