What will I be doing?

As a Spa Therapist, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\n\n\tPerforming different types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.\n\tMaintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.\n\tCommunicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.\n\tResolving guest complaints and reporting any accidents to the supervisor.\n\tCleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each use.\n\tExplaining massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and providing suitable recommendations as needed.\n\tEnsuring that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and reporting shortages to the supervisor.\n\tEnquiring about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.\n

A Spa Therapist serving Conrad Hotels and Resorts is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

\n\n\n\tHigh school diploma or GED.\n\tLicensed in massage therapy and cosmetology or aesthetics.\n\tProven experience working as a spa therapist.\n\tCPR and First Aid certifications are advantageous.\n\tSound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques.\n\tThe ability to stand for extended periods.\n\tExcellent organizational skills.\n\tEffective communication skills.\n\tExceptional customer service skills.\n\tPatience and respect.\n\n\n
