Space Planning Coordinator II
Job title: Space Planning Coordinator I Location: Hybrid in Louisville, KY, or Cleveland, OH Pay Rate: $25/hr. Duration: 3-6 Months of contract with high possibility of extension SUMMARY Reporting to the Merchandising Manager-Space Planning, the Space Planning Coordinator works closely with the Category Managers to design, build, and maintain merchandise planograms. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the planograms accurately reflect assortment decisions and are consistent with category strategy and visual merchandising standards. They are responsible for ensuring planograms meet high quality standards, are localized where relevant and can be executed without issues in the field. They will provide cohesive leadership to maintain cross functional relationships crucial to the success of the organization. Key Responsibilities • Running reports and building planograms. • Working with SAP retail to attach planograms or products to specific sites. • Addressing service channel tickets from sites. • Mapping parts of stores not in the system and building those. • Right-sizing categories through reporting. Experience and Skills Required Skills 1. Space Planning Software Experience: JDA/Blue Yonder: Proficiency in using JDA/Blue Yonder software suite, including space planning, floor planning, and data manager (CKB). This software is essential for creating planograms and managing space efficiently. 2. Other Space Planning Tools: Experience with other space planning tools like Spaceman can be considered, but JDA/Blue Yonder is preferred. 3. Microsoft Excel: Basic Skills: Ability to perform common tasks such as creating and editing spreadsheets, using basic formulas, and generating reports. 4. Analytical Skills: Understanding how to analyse data within Excel to support space planning and reporting tasks. 5. Experience with SAP Retail: Familiarity with SAP Retail for attaching planograms or products to specific sites, enabling site team members to place orders for products. 6. Detail-Oriented: Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in creating planograms, running reports, and managing data. 7. Organizational Skills: Keeping track of various projects and tasks, ensuring nothing is overlooked. 8. Analytical Mindset: Data Analysis: Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on the analysis. 9. Problem-Solving: Identifying issues and finding effective solutions, particularly in space planning and reporting. Work Environment • Hybrid position: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote. • Offices located in Louisville, KY, or Cleveland, OH. • Flexible working hours, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. • No travel required.
