SPA has an immediate need for a highly qualified Space Program Analysis Lead.

Responsibilities

In support of a DoD Rapid Prototyping Organization, the expectation is to plan and oversee execution of space program activities as Space Lead SETA. This job will require significant technical and programmatic engagements with acquisition partners in the Washington DC area as well as routine travel to vendor locations. Ideal candidate has extensive experience delivering small satellites, a strong understanding of space operations, strong writing/presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to support 4-8 days of travel every quarter. Candidate must be able to articulate complex space acquisition and operations activities to non-space professionals in multi-domain test, exercise, and operations environments.

 

Duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:

Prioritizing, orchestrating, monitoring quality, and ensuring completion of critical tasks in support of overall space program execution (Team Lead).Consolidate and deliver programmatic and technical advisement to space acquisition activities (Team Lead).Tracking/handling technical tasks in support of overall program execution (Team Lead).Regularly engage with space acquisition Mission Partners including DARPA, NRO, SDA, and SSC to facilitate constructive and transparent relationships (Team Lead).Track cross-cutting team tasks and ensuring internal project deadlines are met (Supporting Team Member).Development of program budget and schedule (Supporting Team Member).Special projects as directed. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with eligibility for SCIMinimum of 10 years of experience leading space systems analysis, requirements generation, capability assessment, and architecture integration

Desired Qualifications:
