Credence is seeking a Senior Space Systems Trainer responsible for the development of new training materials, modifications to existing training materials, maintenance of Ready Space crew Program-defined course materials and will also perform platform instructional duties. The position is located within the CSpOC Capabilities Integration Office (CCIO), and under the Space Delta-5 (Del-5) Organization.

 

This position is based out of Vandenberg, CA SFB. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Create training products used for Initial Qualification Training (IQT), Mission Qualification Training (MQT), Supplemental Training (ST), Continuous Training (CT), and Advanced Training (AT) for the Space Delta-5 (DEL-5) mission, and its respective squadrons and divisionsSupport development of new training products, modification to existing products, and maintenance of Ready Spacecrew Program-defined course objectives, lesson plans, and teaching aidsSupport the execution of the Advanced Training programIdentify and recommend additional training product improvements and modificationsSupport scenario-based and threat representative training, and assist with instruction of lessons and/or scenarios as neededPlan, coordinate, and participate in mission activities to identify training needs/deficienciesParticipate in exercises and the lessons learned (LL) activities to identify training opportunitiesGain and maintain insight for training opportunities through awareness of exercise coordination activities, evaluation tests and scripts, simulation scenarios, and other on-going instructionReview and assess documented deficiencies, lessons learned, after action reports, and any other associated documentation in order to resolve training deficiencies Design, collect, analyze, and/or report training performance metrics as needed Education, Requirements and Qualifications Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with SCI eligibility is mandatoryBachelor’s degree is mandatory.Experience and/or working knowledge with the Space Delta-5 / CSpOC training program and the associated operational mission system capabilities is highly desiredExperience with training program execution, coordination, development, modification, or administration is highly desiredOutstanding verbal and written communication skills are mandatory Ability and desire to work as a member of a team is mandatory Understanding, working knowledge, and/or experience with air operations center (AOC) operations, operational-level command and control, military command and control, or space command and control is desiredExperience with the Instructional Systems Development (ISD)-based instruction model is desiredTraining experience, to include planning and delivering instruction in accordance with the ISD model is desired Completion of an Instructor Course or other instructional experience is desiredPrior military/civilian space background and familiarity working within either the 55th Combat Training Squadron (55 CTS), Space Delta-5 (DEL-5), 614th Air Operations Center (614 AOC), or the Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC) is highly desired

Full salary range for this position is: $100,000 to $125,000 per year with the starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and education, in addition to budget availability.
