​​Spacecraft Electrical Engineer​ Job Number: 350991 Category: Electrical / Electronics Description: Job Title: ​​Spacecraft Electrical Engineer​ Location: Broomfield, CO (100% onsite) Zip Code: 80021 Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Contract Pay Rate: $65.00 - $75.00/hr DoE Keywords: #SpacecraftElectricalEngineer #AerospaceEngineeringJobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * ​​Responsible for spacecraft electronics and hardware through all stages of the development process for satellites ranging from CubeSats to SmallSats * Responsibilities will include power generation, storage, and delivery as well as grounding, EMI mitigation, wiring, and electrical and data interfaces between all spacecraft subsystems. * Deliver every aspect of the spacecraft electrical design from energy balance budgets to communications connectors​ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * ​​Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university * Minimum of 8 years of industry experience in spacecraft electrical system design, analysis, manufacturing, test, and troubleshooting OR * ​​Power subsystems experience * Satellite background * Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals * Understanding of the subsystems required in a spacecraft electrical system * Board-level high-reliability hardware design experience for spaceflight thermal, radiation, and vibration environments (i.e. schematic, layout, build, and test) * Proficiency in electrical system design and analysis, including electrical ICD definition, requirement derivation, digital I/O standards, power interfaces, connectors, and cabling * Experience designing and building power electronics including DC/DC converters, isolated power supplies, and motor drivers.
