In this position, you will be responsible for spacecraft operations through all stages of the development process for CesiumAstro payloads and satellites. Your responsibilities will include system design, team leadership, and hands-on satellite operations. The ideal candidate will be an experienced satellite operator and engineer with the desire and ability to create operations systems as well as utilize them. As a Cesium spacecraft team member, you will work on a small team to develop satellites and put them in orbit. You will be responsible for designing satellite operations systems from end to end and then utilizing those systems to commission and operate satellites in low Earth orbit. You will provide creative solutions to complex problems to push the boundaries of satellite operations. The successful candidate will also present engineering design review materials to our customers and executive team, as well as participate in proposal-writing efforts.
