Our space systems team is looking for a Spacecraft Systems Engineer to support the design development and verification of new spacecraft design.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Support program requirement verification through the assembly, integration, and test process, including system-level test.Perform analysis and decomposition of system, segment and subsystem requirements. Troubleshoot conflicting design/development requirements, difficult coordination requirements, and special material requirements.  Provide documentation and make technical presentations as required.  Support program design and readiness reviews. May represent the organization as the prime technical contact on small contracts or single component projects.Establish collaborative working relationships with peers to ensure synergy across space, ground, and launch segments.Provide proactive and pragmatic Fault Detection, Isolation and Recovery (FDIR) design and interfaces to ensure mission requirements are satisfied by SV design. Develop FDIR test scenarios and support test plan and procedure development to ensure SV FDIR design is fully tested. Prepare systems engineering and FDIR design artifacts. Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches to define and inform mission and spacecraft architecture.  System Engineering work products may include:CONOPSSystem ArchitectureRequirements and Interface Control DocumentsMission and System AnalysisTrade StudiesMaintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.  Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
