Our space systems team is looking for a Spacecraft Systems Engineer to support the design development and verification of new spacecraft design. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Support program requirement verification through the assembly, integration, and test process, including system-level test. + Perform analysis and decomposition of system, segment and subsystem requirements. + Troubleshoot conflicting design/development requirements, difficult coordination requirements, and special material requirements. + Provide documentation and make technical presentations as required. + Support program design and readiness reviews. + May represent the organization as the prime technical contact on small contracts or single component projects. + Establish collaborative working relationships with peers to ensure synergy across space, ground, and launch segments. + Provide proactive and pragmatic Fault Detection, Isolation and Recovery (FDIR) design and interfaces to ensure mission requirements are satisfied by SV design. + Develop FDIR test scenarios and support test plan and procedure development to ensure SV FDIR design is fully tested. + Prepare systems engineering and FDIR design artifacts. + Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches to define and inform mission and spacecraft architecture. System Engineering work products may include: + CONOPS + System Architecture + Requirements and Interface Control Documents + Mission and System Analysis + Trade Studies + Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information. + Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
