We have an exciting opportunity for a Spacesuit Test Engineer to join our team with JETS II teammate company, McLaurin Aerospace.
The Spacesuit Test Engineer will\:
Perform project and test engineering functions for EVA spacesuit design, development, procurement, manufacture, test, and certification Develop essential documentation for the assigned tests including test plans, hazard analyses, test procedures, Test Readiness Review documentation, and any additional operations-related products Design tests and test rigs, identifying instrumentation and data acquisition systems Coordinate test activities and requirements with NASA test facilities Setup and execute tests and prepare summary reports documenting test results Become a certified Suit Test Engineer and lead the execution of spacesuit testing Plan and execute hardware troubleshooting to investigate mechanical and electrical failures within spacesuit hardware, development test articles, or test support hardware Select and apply engineering techniques to analyze and evaluate specific problems, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and Perform job functions based on pre-established guidelines or instructions Perform other duties as required *Are you passionate about human space exploration, understanding the origins of the universe, and working with a passionate and diverse team to make a difference?
