Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a focused and meticulous Spanish bilingual Medical Biller/Collections Specialist in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Medical Biller/Collections Specialist, you will be tasked with handling client inquiries, managing client accounts, and implementing effective collection methods. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our financial department within the healthcare industry. Responsibilities: • Handle inquiries from clients, providing detailed explanations of charges and resolving any issues that arise. • Utilize spanish bilingual skills with clients. • Manage client repayment agreements, including negotiation and monitoring. • Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records in multiple computer systems, with the ability to modify and retrieve information as needed. • Oversee the processing of collection and billing reports, conducting audits and reviews where necessary. • Determine and employ appropriate collection methods such as revenue recapture, judgment by operation of law, bankruptcy, garnishment, and personal service. • Post client payments, calculating any necessary interest and adjustments. • Handle accounts receivable, appeals, authorizations, benefit functions, and billing functions using the EHR SYSTEM.
