In response to the humanitarian crisis at America’s ports of entry, Devereux provides short-term shelter care services for unaccompanied children who have come to the United States without a parent or legal guardian. Devereux will provide extremely high-quality, trauma-informed residential and educational services for unaccompanied children, with intense supports for their social and emotional health. We will also ensure they receive excellent and immediate physical healthcare including pediatric, dental and nutritional supports for every child. Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health MA provides programs and services for children, and adolescents. Devereux’s ultimate goal is to ensure every unaccompanied child who receives our services is successfully and quickly discharged into the loving care of their family sponsor and, during the short time they are with us, have received best-in-class medical, therapeutic, recreational and educational services designed specifically to address the traumas they have sustained during, and often before, their migration journey. Learn morehere \#sponsored **Qualifications** **For consideration, you must have:** + Must be 21+ with a valid drivers license + High School Diploma or GED, higher education _preferred_ + Bilingual (English/Spanish) **required** + One year of child welfare experience working with children and/or adolescents **required** + Fully immunized/vaccinated (or have a medical/religious exemption) for Varicella, MMR, TdAp, Influenza prior to starting. **Interview Process & Training:** + Onboarding/background check process can take up to 4+ weeks. You will do a 20 minute phone interview followed by a 30 minute virtual interview with the hiring manager prior to offer + 3 weeks Paid orientation (Monday-Friday, 8-4pm, first 3 weeks of employments Devereux conducts a very thorough background check process to ensure the safety of the children in our care.
