Job Title: Spare Parts Verifier - 1377866 Job Description We are seeking a Spare Parts Verifier to join our team in the new Engineering building within the maintenance and spare parts group. This role involves verification of spare parts, ensuring that all specifications are met, and managing the procurement process effectively. Responsibilities + Designate and confirm standard attributes for each new part procurement and maintenance functional requirement. + Review and verify specifications for all new submitted parts. Interact with Production Engineering, Maintenance, and Equipment Vendors to resolve discrepancies. + Assign appropriate Noun/Modifier/UNSPSC to parts and verify no duplicates exist in the system. + Manage assigned deliverables and report progress to management. Self-manage across simultaneous deliverables. Essential Skills + Experience with engineering, project management, inventory management, and spare parts verification. + Proficiency in Microsoft systems: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint. + Critical thinking, teamwork, and eagerness to solve systemic issues. + Engineering or maintenance technical 2-year degree or equivalent work experience. + Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to US cities (<5%). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with equipment design, procurement, and maintenance. + Experience working with automotive manufacturing and/or tier 1 parts suppliers or equipment makers. + Ability to travel internationally and within the US by air as required. + Familiarity with PowerBI, SQL, Access, PowerPoint, SAP or Peoplesoft, and usage of CAD tools like CATIA. Work Environment This is an office/desk job, not an assembly or production floor role. The work environment is methodical, and team members must be willing to seek buy-in on projects before proceeding.
