About the Role
Our team brings new product concepts to market and guides initiatives to ensure competitiveness in the market. As a Technical Program Manager within the Speaker Product Team you will work closely with the cross functional team helping ensure our New Product Development Team has what they need to meet their development goals.
The position performs a variety of tasks including, but not limited to coordinating all resources and stakeholders; setting deadlines; assigning responsibilities; and monitoring, summarizing and communicating the progress of the project(s).
You will also work closely with the Senior Director to rollout the new technologies into larger Product concepts and customer proposals.
Your Team
This position will be a lead/support role aimed at ensuring the engineering team has what they need to meet their goals and ensuring they are able to meet the schedule requirements.
What You Will Do
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and objectives.Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and communication to meet project goals.Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.Stakeholder Management:
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.Foster strong relationships with key partners, ensuring alignment on project priorities and expectations.Technical Expertise:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into actionable project plans.Collaborate with development teams, architects, and engineers to ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions.Problem Solving and Decision-Making:
Proactively identify challenges and bottlenecks, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to find effective solutions.Make informed decisions based on data, project priorities, and resource constraints, ensuring project success.Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
Implement quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products or solutions.Evaluate project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions.Communication and Reporting:
Communicate project status, updates, and key metrics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future plans.Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive the implementation of best practices.Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the project team.What You Need
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field (preferably in engineering like Transducer and Mechanical related)Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering results within scope, time, and budget constraints. (PMP certification preferred)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. English (Must) and Chinese (Prefered)Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.Experience working on international projects or managing cross-cultural teams, demonstrating adaptability and global perspective.Experience in program management, sales, quality, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, or materialsWhat is Nice to Have
Automotive experience is preferredAt least 5 years in leadership position (functional manager, group leader, program manager, etc.)Overseas working experience would be beneficial.What Makes You Eligible
