The Role

CAA is seeking an assistant to support three Executives in the Speakers Department. The Executives oversee marketing, client relations and event management. The ideal candidate will have an interest in Event Management, Marketing and the Speakers industry. This assistant plays a critical role within the team and requires a highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills and exceptional attention to detail. They must demonstrate a sense of independence, self-motivation, flexibility, and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Help maintain databasesAssist with event logistics, including travel arrangements, event briefings, and event communicationsTrack and meticulously maintain grids of data and execute excellent follow-up and follow throughStay updated on social media platforms/trends and assist with content planning and postingAssist with light video trimming/editing for speaker highlight reels, sizzle reels, and promotional videosManage administrative duties including calendar management, preparing expense reports, and general office management tasksGeneral assistance to the department with special and ongoing projectsOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferredOrganized, efficient, and detail oriented, with a sense of urgencyExperience that demonstrates the ability to multitask and constantly reprioritize workloadAbility to work well in fast-paced environments; meet tight deadlines; lead multiple projects and expectations; maintain a sharp focus while handling competing priorities; ability to work well under pressureStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentialityAbility to anticipate needs and execute time-sensitive mattersAdept at quickly learning new processes, technology, and ability to assimilate oneself and become familiar with existing systemsStrong writing and storytelling skills for crafting compelling marketing materialsMicrosoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro proficientAn aptitude for technology, media, and internet-based research and applications

Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $22.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
