Overview

A Teacher provides education that aligns with T.C. Harris curriculum and is responsible for the goals established within the student's IEP as well as progressing/reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Certified by the State of Indiana Department of Education in Mild or Severe Mental Handicaps (MiMH or SMH), Emotional Handicaps (EH), or Learning Disabilities (LD). Must be certified for the academic level of functioning and classes taught.Experience in working with students that have intellectual disabilities or significant behavioral needs is preferred.
