We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Laurinburg, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience with ECATS, IEP writing, and hold a valid NC teaching license.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. Utilize ECATS (Every Child Accountability & Tracking System) to track and report student progress. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and development. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests. Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid North Carolina teaching license in Special Education. Proven experience with ECATS and IEP writing. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
