The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of theSpecial Education Program Administrator provides quality services to specialeducation students, kindergarten through grade 12.  The Special Education Teacher has a commitmentto team participation in planning and implementation of student programsincluding special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation withgeneral education staff.  

General Comments

Modality:  

 4 x Special Education Teachers

Elementary

Caseload Details:

2 x self-contained classrooms, 1 is autism specific, 1 supporting multiple classrooms

1 x resource position

1 x FMLA resource position

Classroom Support:

All self-contained classrooms have 3 teacher assistants, BCBA support 1 day/week and SLP support 2.5 days/week and other related services pushing in as necessary.

Start/End Date:

Self-contained: ASAP-EOY

Resource: ASAP-EOY

Start/End time:

M, T, TH 8:15-3:50, w 8:00-3:50, F 8:30-3:50

Breaks paid/unpaid:

30 min unpaid
