Details of the position include: Position: Middle School Special Education Teacher Locations: Chelsea, MA Start : ASAP Duration: 2025 School Year Schedule : Monday-Friday 8:00-2:30 Responsibilities : + Effectively plans and assesses curriculum and instruction. + Meets and instructs students at designated times and locations. + Develops study programs tailored to individual student needs, interests, and abilities. + Delivers clear and effective instruction using appropriate techniques. + Employs innovative strategies and technologies to enhance student learning and confidence. + Creates a conducive and age-appropriate learning environment Experience: + A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university; + Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education teacher licensure in grade and subject area appropriate for the assignment; + Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement for core content teachers + Ability to work with diverse population; + Knowledge of MA Curriculum frameworks, curriculum, instruction, and assessment; + Knowledge of differentiated instruction and response to intervention Pay Rate : $40- $50/hour (based on experience) Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding the position.
