Details of the position include:
Position: Middle School Special Education Teacher
Locations: Chelsea, MA
Start: ASAP
Duration: 2025 School Year
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-2:30
Responsibilities:
Effectively plans and assesses curriculum and instruction. Meets and instructs students at designated times and locations. Develops study programs tailored to individual student needs, interests, and abilities. Delivers clear and effective instruction using appropriate techniques. Employs innovative strategies and technologies to enhance student learning and confidence. Creates a conducive and age-appropriate learning environment
Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university; Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education teacher licensure in grade and subject area appropriate for the assignment; Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement for core content teachers Ability to work with diverse population; Knowledge of MA Curriculum frameworks, curriculum, instruction, and assessment; Knowledge of differentiated instruction and response to intervention
Pay Rate: $40- $50/hour (based on experience)
