IMPROVING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY Curriculum & Instruction + Plan and implement instruction based upon district standards and best instructional practices aligned to the K-12 instructional model. + Implement the instructional program, including practices to support a multi-tiered system of support. + Establish positive relationships and rapport with students, parents, and staff members. + Understand and implement culturally responsive curriculum which is standards based. + Serve as Case Manager for their case load of students, by ensuring that students Individualized Educational Plans are implemented. Assessment + Utilize formative and summative assessment to monitor and differentiate instructional practice based upon learners. + Analyze class building, district, and state assessment data to inform curriculum implementation and instructional decisions. + Document student progress, learning, and outcomes; address specific educational needs of students; and provide feedback to students, parents/guardians and administration regarding student progress.
