Sarasota National is a resort-style community that includes 2 Clubhouses, a 32,000 square foot Palm Club, 5,000 square foot Golf Club on 2,100 Acres with 1580+ members, and $1.5M in annual F&B Sales.
We are an Audubon cooperative sanctuary offering food and beverage, 18-hole golf, tennis, pickleball, bocce, resort pool, tiki bar, fitness classes, massages, personal training, golf lessons, wine, and a notary.

Position Summary: Provide an exceptional member experience through positive communication, technology assistance, and administrative support. This key individual will interact with members by phone, email or in person daily. The position requires an individual who has an outgoing and engaging personality, and enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

Excellent computer and technology skills is a must to handle workload Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with CANVA, CLUB ESSENTIAL, EZSUITE & RAMCO is helpful Basic to intermediate graphic design/layout skills a plus 2+ years of equivalent experience in an administrative roleExpectations:
Planning and Organization: He/She must make calendar arrangements for all Club activities including dinner parties, special events, meetings, conferences, receptions, social mixers, happy hours, golf events, tennis events and bocce events. Planning activities include developing event programs, scheduling entertainment, scheduling fundraisers and organizing art shows. Arranging Activities: The Events Manager must sit down with members, outside groups, the Golf Director, F & B Director and Chef depending on the event to organize and arrange the details of the event. Start the creation of the initial banquet event orders. Communication & Marketing: The Events Manager requires the ability to both connect and communicate verbally and in writing. He/She prepares all marketing items for Club sponsored events. He/She oversees all fliers and advertising regarding Club events. As well as attending Social Committee Meeting, they are required to attend Club meetings as to communicate the planning of future events if necessary. He/She schedules the performers, arranges and negotiates contracts. Maintain a solid strategy with clear goals on what you would like to achieve. Clearly communicate to your audience what they can expect. Give your audience plenty of time to learn about the event and RSVP. Give as much detail as possible including venue, menu, theme, seating arrangements and entertainment. Know your audience as to get the most out of the event. Networking is an important aspect of being a Member Events Manager. It is important to find time for this. Finding a small local group can give you great ideas or strategies and new ideas is an important aspect of being a Member Events Manager. It is always important to plan well in advance as to stay within the Club or clients budget. This will allow you to shop around and find the best quality for the most affordable prices.Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
