THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Special Events Representative is to assist with slot tournaments, table tournaments, and VIP ticketing. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental property policies, practices and procedures.

STARTING PAY:  $15.45 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Assist the Slot Marketing Department with the execution of slot tournamentsAssist the Casino Special Events Department with the execution of table game tournaments and casino-wide events, including Super Bowl, New Year’s Eve, VIP ticketed events, etc.Complete special projects as requested by management ​

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Knowledge of guest service needsKnowledge of appropriate money handling practices and ability to process credit card transactionsAbility to compute mathematical calculations when balancing revenue sources, i.e., cash, credit card, check, etc.Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsAbility to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentialityAbility to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environmentExcellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detailExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
