Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Special Procedure Tech provides direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures to assist physicians and delivers quality patient/family centered care. The incumbent may be required to perform IV starts, prep patients, monitor hemodynamics, operate equipment, document procedures, vascular access site management, and provide patient/family education.

Qualifications

Required associate's degree or equivalent in cardiovascular technology/basic science, Paramedic license, Exercise Physiologist, training and/or education.

Required Interventional Radiology requires completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT).Required Cath Lab/EP Lab requires employee to be a graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist programClinical experience required through graduation of one of the above listed programs. Required2 years of relevant experience in EP, Cath Lab or IR.
