Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design, setup, program, and operate lights for various events such as dance, theater plays, music recitals.

Minimum Requirements

Education – High School Diploma or GED

Experience – Some related experience required.

May not be currently enrolled as a student at Texas A&M International University.

Knowledge of:

Word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

Troubleshooting lighting issues.

Ability to:

Multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Verbal and written communication skills. 

Maintain strong relationships with production stakeholders and coworkers.

Physical Requirements – General office environment (repetitive movement, standing and walking)

Other Requirements

Position requires working evening and/or weekend hours.

Position requires keeping a work schedule of 19 hours per week.

Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.

Salary: $23.00/hour for up to 19 hours weekly
