Where you will work: This is a remote position that will report to one of Astound Broadband’s Washington state office locations.

A Day in the Life of the Special Projects Manager:

Investigation of project scope, opportunity, & deliverables Development & communication of a detailed project plan Identification of key milestones, roadblocks, and issues Effective communication of critical issues Requesting & obtaining resources from internal organizations Timely management of project and priorities to meet deliverables Providing status as necessary Implementation of deliverables on schedule Deliver results Communication, information sharing, lessons & post mortem of project Other duties as assigned.

Potential projects include

Major Network Expansion Initiatives Billing enhancements Efficiency improvements Cost savings opportunities Functional transfers / development Major initiatives (both customer facing & internal) Process improvement/documentation New product/process/functionality

What You Bring to the Table:

Operational experience in a service industry – cable, telecommunications, etc. Formal training in project management including 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent Proven ability to deliver results in an independent, self guided work environment Detail oriented Excellent interpersonal skills Strong presentation skills & comfort with Senior Management Strong problem solving skills Excellent written & verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Flexibility to work under aggressive time schedules Ability to perform with little supervision in a rapidly evolving environment Enjoys challenges Ability to create an maintain complex project schedules Ability to see the big picture, yet competent with the details Displays proven good judgment and proactive decision-making skills Excellent customer service focus

Base Salary: The base salary range in Washington for this position is $62,580 - $$‎104,370.00 annually plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
