We are seeking a Special Projects Technician to join our team in Madison, WI. In this role you will assist with many unique projects including multi-dwelling unit (MDU) service calls, cable, internet and security product installs, maintenance and upkeep of our warehouse, as well as other duties and projects as needed.

Maintain warehouse, ensuring it remains cleaned and organizedTrack and maintain inventory for all equipment & parts, keeping items locked and organizedPlace orders and manage intake of deliveries, stocking shelvesIssue/return equipment to technicians on a daily and weekly basisComplete a daily reconciliation of technician equipment levelsParticipate in company vehicle management: clean and detail vehicles, deliver vehicles requiring repair to the repair shopAssign uniforms, tools, and safety gear to all technicians; ensuring invoices are signedPerform installations and changes of serviceComplete all tasks adhering to applicable codes, requirements, guidelines, company procedures and safe work practicesTroubleshoot and resolve issues and customer concernsEnsure products and services are working properly to drive a positive customer experiencePrioritize, organize and efficiently complete tasks to meet deadlinesWork independentlyWork in a variety of environments; indoors, outdoors, tight spaces, elevatedNavigate a variety of terrains managing tools and equipmentOther duties as assigned Requirements Warehouse experience preferredGeneral construction experience preferredExcellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to learn and operate testing equipment and software/programsAbility to utilize hand tools, identify wire size/color and accurately utilize measuring devicesAbility to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds)Ability to complete work indoors, outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the timeAbility to lift and carry up to 75lbsAbility to safely navigate various terrains, managing equipment and toolsA body weight of no more than 275 pounds to perform ladder work safely. **Safety is our #1 Priority.
