**Req ID:** RQ195847 **Type of Requisition:** Regular **Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain:** Top Secret SCI + Polygraph **Public Trust/Other Required:** None **Job Family:** Security **Skills:** Access Control (AC),Facility Security,Personnel Security Management,Security Information,Sensitive Information **Experience:** 7 + years of related experience **US Citizenship Required:** Yes **Job Description:** Special Security Technician (Facility Monitor) Our work depends on a Senior Special Security Technician (Facility Monitor) to serve in support of defense analytical requirements by providing enhanced security and administrative support for a Combatant Command (CCMD), Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC) **HOW A SENIOR SPECIAL SECURITY TECHNICIAN (FACILITY MONITOR) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT** + Monitor and control access to SCI and SCIF areas. + Verify credentials and authorize entry. + Prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information and facilities. + Provide security escort support for custodial and uncleared workers. + Ensure that all security procedures are followed during escorts. + Respond to security incidents and emergencies. **WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:** + Security Clearance Level: TS / SCI, with polygraph eligibility. + US Citizenship Required + **Desired Education and Experience:** Master’s degree with 5 yrs related experience or Bachelor’s degree with a total of 7 yrs experience as a substitute to the Master’s degree. At least a portion of your experience must be in the last 2 yrs. + **Required:** Strong attention to detail and observational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + **Preferred:** Leadership experience in facility security or access control. Knowledge of security protocols and procedures. Familiarity with USCENTCOM J2 facilities. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
