NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Special Services Coordinator to join our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL supporting the Residential Reentry Centers RRMB for the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). This position supports inmates who are still in federal custody and have transitioned to a community setting. The Special Services Coordinator schedules telehealth appointments, handles online ancillary orders, and assists with network usage.

 

This position will be remote; but will require coming into the office at times. Local residents only.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

Utilize healthcare experience to consistently schedule telehealth appointments and online orders that meet internal protocol and production standardsAssist with network usage and coordination of careDemonstrate skills in accuracy and multitasking while working to impact progress within the daily workload and adhere to internal deadlinesMaintain confidentiality when managing medical records, patient data, and NaphCare processesDemonstrate a high comfort level in working with large volumes of dataDemonstrate a strong attention to detail and a commitment to customer service throughout the scheduling processAdditional duties and specific projects as assigned Qualifications

Position Requirements:

High School DiplomaPrior training in a medical office setting scheduling appointments and working with medical records preferredA working knowledge of medical terminology and various types of medical specialtiesProficiency in Microsoft SuiteProficiency in ExcelRemote work allowed (after training).
