Summary: LLS is a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization, relentlessly pursuing cancer cures. To help achieve this mission, this role is responsible for providing internal support of essential operational activities related to managing, tracking and receiving funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS).
This role with start fully remote, however, in late winter 2025, we anticipate it will move to 3-4 days/week in office in the downtown Washington DC area.
While employees may be permitted to work remotely, travel to the assigned office, HUB or Satellite Offices may be required as determined by the employee’s manager and the employee’s People Organization Generalist.
Core Responsibilities/ Primary Duties
Accurate and timely processing of checks daily Receive, sort and log all incoming mail and packages Ensure mailroom is stocked with necessary supplies at all times Prepare invoices and maintain tracking on outstanding commitments Work with business partners to follow-up with past due commitments Support region teams with offline fund management. Including processing region revenue timely and accurately from territory and national lockboxes, wires and donor advised funds according to defined processes and procedures Research unclaimed donations to determine correct allocation Review wire and DAF reports for unclaimed wires working with region staff to determine correct allocation Process journal entries and fund transfers timely and accurately following LLS policies and procedures Submit cash receipts templates to National Office allocate revenue appropriately Identify and mitigate risks related to fraudulent activities, such as check fraud or unauthorized transactions Maintain a clear understanding of processes, technological changes and quality expectations Provide training and support to other staff on deposit operations Collaborate with peers to ensure lockbox coverage during staff absences and vacancies Manage tickets and inbound customer needs through ticketing software within agreed upon SLA Protects organization's value by keeping information confidentialMinimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred 2+ years of experience in a directly relatable role Prior LLS experience preferred Knowledge of LLS mission, products and services preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $44,000 to $63,000. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at LLS we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
