Job Summary

The role joins a wider team of BI professionals supporting a large strategic client with a key focus on producing a growing array of BI solutions (dashboards, reports, apps, AI, ML, etc.). The role will be accountable for building effective analytical products and being able to transform transactional data into meaningful business insights. The outcome of the BI Analyst is to enable the business to make data-informed decisions, which are based on insightful analytics. Every deliverable of the role should be able to demonstrate a measurable return on investment and improved outcomes for the client. Good troubleshooting skills, able to use Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Not afraid to fail fast, improve, and iterate.Secure and Detail Oriented: Provide discrete and confidential handling of sensitive information, delivers quality products with low defect levels, communicate clearly and quickly, pay attention to details.Driven: Demonstrates an ability to learn new techniques and tools. Brave enough to try new techniques and technology.

MINIMUM REQUIRED

Education/training

Years of relevant experience

5+ years of analytic / business intelligence related experience in an enterprise environment across multiple application systems and business functions

Skills and knowledge

Relationship management skills: excellent listening and consultative capability; ability to influence and negotiate with business and technology partners to drive change, and the ability to take a broad perspective and make key connections.Demonstrated information management, analytics, and data profiling skills. Control, compliance, audit, risk management and relevant experience in risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and remediation will be helpful.Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the overall information and analytics space.Excellent communication skills: oral, written, and presentation. Strong group facilitation skills: ability to move a process forward, while meeting the needs of a variety of clients.Ability to work with various levels of peers including analysts, developers and executives regarding complex business and data related issues.and organization skills. Demonstrated ability to facilitate projects. Manage task timelines and deliverable schedules, recognize, and share risks and roadblocks.Collaborative, technically savvy.Superior ability to manage, manipulate and analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations using technology. Articulate the issues and resolutions via business-friendly communications. Serve as primary day-to-day contact for regional data management issues.Good understanding of data quality management. Knowledge of data governance and how it impacts business processes

Leadership: Self-starter able to work through local and remote teams. Assist and champion process improvements with our global teams.Technical Competence: Ability to learn new technologies quickly. Advanced skills with some or all of the following: SQL, Alteryx, Databricks, Tableau, Python.Written & Oral Communications: Excellent verbal and written communications skills via 1:1 group interaction, PowerPoint presentations and email. Able to communicate across diverse groups of individuals.Results-Driven: Experience at establishing and keeping deadlines. Meticulously detailed oriented to enable accurate reporting.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

103,200.00 – 126,400.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
