The specialist with some managerial guidance will be accountable for three key budget areas: Functional, Program out of pockets (OOPs), and Capital. This role is crucial in ensuring financial accuracy, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. **You will be responsible for** **:** + Proactively manage Program OOPs by working with Scientific Integrators (SIs) and/or Business SMEs to ensure budget adherence, both forecast as well as actualization. + In collaboration with finance, reclass costs on a regular basis to the appropriate financial bucket. + Manage functional budget by tracking controllable budgets (e.g. operating supplies, travel & expense, external headcount, and Partnership/Sponsorship). + Manage and track capital budget, by ensuring all equipment is ordered by the planned timeline. + Responsible for tracking internal and external headcount. + Collaborate with finance, strategy and operations, and cross-functional teams to track budget vs actuals, and support business objectives. + Analyze and refine existing business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. + Contribute to and follow-up on the departmental productivity objectives. + Conduct data analysis and generate reports to inform decision-making. + Collaborate with departments to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. **Qualifications / Requirements:** **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field required + MBA and/or advanced degree in related discipline preferred **Required:** + Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in business operations, pharmaceutical industry or a related field + Demonstration of strong financial and business acumen + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams + Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities + Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint **Preferred:** + Proven experience in driving process improvement and improving operational efficiency + Experience in the pharmaceutical industry + Experience in Monday.com, UCT, and Tableau + FPX project management or related project management certification Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
