Job Title: Specialist, Configuration Management Job Code: 16712 Job Location: Huntsville HQ, Huntsville, Alabama Job Schedule: 9/80 work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description: The Senior Associate Configuration Manager is responsible for ensuring that products are identified to a baseline design configuration and changes are controlled and accounted for in accordance with contractual requirements and Company policies and procedures. These positions interpret contractual requirements for Configuration Management to ensure compliance. Essential Functions: + Applicable codes, regulations and specifications; industry standards for Configuration Management; and applicable customer requirements + Product Lifecycle Management tools + Use of computer systems to produce data, analysis and reports and applicable software programs + Contract Deliverable Data Practices + Design practices, manufacturing techniques and inspection requirements + Principles of business system analysis, including the analysis of procedures, equipment and methods + Principles and practices of producing effective project documentation, including business functions, technical systems and processes + Customers’ current business processes + Systematic approach to problem solving Qualifications: + Requires practical knowledge of job area. Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: + Existing US security clearance preferred.
