As a Specialist, Creative and Marketing for the Essential Music Publishing team, you will provide key administrative, creative and marketing services to our songwriters and publishing team. We are looking for an independent thinker and creative driver with a passion for organization and detail. This role offers a unique opportunity to actively participate in creative strategy, social media management, event coordination, song marketing and overall brand development of Essential Music Publishing.
What you'll do: Assist Essential Music Publishing (EMP) team in overall social media strategy and implementation, including design, weekly new release updates and various social posting Develop new strategies for pitch tools and song catalog development Coordinate marketing opportunities around key publishing releases in partnership with DSP accounts and other available platforms Work alongside Creative Director on sync music organization and strategy Update and provide creative guidance of EMP website and songwriter pages Plan various publishing and songwriter events – including event conception, design, and coordination Gather weekly chart data for writer report updates Coordinate travel for writers Process expense reports for select department staff Organize submission and payment of department POs/Invoices Participate in songwriter cowriting strategy with EMP staff writers and A&R teams Manage master calendar for Essential Music Publishing staff writers and cowrites Who you are: A music aficionado with a working knowledge of the music industry (generally gained through 2 or more years of related experience) A self-starter with experience implementing marketing plans or providing administrative support in a music, lifestyle, entertainment or creative industry A creative team member with demonstrated experience and understanding of the current marketing landscape and digital platforms A focused team player with strong organizational and communication skills A highly detail-oriented individual with experience in an administrative function coordinating multiple projects at a time, organizing and leveraging data, and managing a deadline-heavy calendar A growth-oriented professional able to exhibit a professional manner and maintain constructive working relationships with others, including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company A deadline focused worker with the ability to balance multiple priority tasks simultaneously and ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions What we give you: You join an inclusive, collaborative and global community where you have the opportunity to fuel the creative journey A modern office environment designed to foster productivity, creativity, and teamwork Our Hybrid with Flexibility approach combines the flexibility of remote working with the benefits of in-person collaboration whenever we need to come together to do our best work.
