Specialist, Distribution Engineering SPEAR
**Required Education/Experience** + High School Diploma/GED with 5 year relevant work experience or + Associate's Degree with 4 years relevant work experience or + Bachelor's Degree with 2 years relevant work experience **Preferred Education/Experience** + Bachelor's Degree **Relevant Work Experience** + Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, written and oral communication skills. Required + Experience in organizing meetings, and implementation of programs. Required + Proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, and .NET web applications. Preferred + Two years of technical experience in the electric distribution system (underground network secondary and/or overhead), specifically in the areas of installation, maintenance, repair, removal, replacement, testing and inspection preferred. Preferred + Knowledge of computer skills including but not limited to HTML, JAVA Script, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau development and Control Center applications such as eGIS, Outage dashboard is preferred. Preferred + Ability to understand and interpret emergency tickets (b-tickets) and work requests, mapping systems such as M&S plates, field constructed drawings and layouts preferred. Preferred **Skills and Abilities** + Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc. + Excellent organizational skills + Effective interpersonal skills + Demonstrated problem solving skills **Licenses and Certifications** + Driver's License Required **Additional Physical Demands** + Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers. + Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed. + Must be able to walk extensively for field observation and supervision.
