In this position... 

The Specialist, Employee Relations, working under general direction, is responsible for supporting labor strategy and negotiation actions. This role conducts daily operations including project management support, collaborating with teams, including cross-functionally, to implement processes and training material.

You'll have... 

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience. Minimum 3 years of work experience in the manufacturing industry with a with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Employee Relations or a related field. Functional proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications and SharePoint. Problem solving/conflict resolution. Data analysis/data presentation. Project management skills. Excellent written and oral communication including presentation skills. Ability to build consensus with stakeholders.

Even better, you may have...

Masters Degree in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline preferred. Plant labor relations experience preferred. Negotiations experience is preferred.

What you'll do...

Support objectives and deliverables for continuous improvement projects. This includes using LEAN tools to help deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify preventive measures to keep processes working as designed. Create meeting materials and presentations. Support centralized communication process. Create and manage SharePoint sites. Support and deliver National/Local negotiation planning initiatives including training material and workshops. Support and participate in a negotiations subcommittee on a specified topic. Provide support in various benchmarking initiatives. Support National Negotiations contractual language control process. Manage National Negotiations facility matters, budget, food services, etc. Ad hoc research and other assignments as required.
