Role Overview: 

This pivotal role involves providing specialized cybersecurity support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). This position plays a crucial part in the development, accreditation, and maintenance of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages essential for all NSWCPD Land Based Test Sites. The successful candidate will ensure comprehensive Cyber Security and Information Assurance (IA) Hardening for all systems, encompassing both Ashore and Afloat components within the Land Based Test Sites, directly contributing to the operational readiness and security posture of the Navy's fleet. 


Key Responsibilities:  Assist in the development and management of RMF packages, facilitating full RMF Authority To Operate (ATO) for all NSWCPD Land Based Test Site Systems.  Perform comprehensive cybersecurity tasks including vulnerability assessment, system hardening, and the implementation of security controls in compliance with DISA STIGs and SRGs.  Act as a pivotal resource for server and desktop administrative support, ensuring systems meet DoD and RMF requirements through meticulous configuration, patch management, and security compliance.  Conduct regular security documentation, artifact creation, and vulnerability management, utilizing tools such as eMASS and ACAS to maintain and enhance cybersecurity frameworks.  Assist in the coordination, development, and execution of cybersecurity strategies across various platforms, contributing to the integration of cybersecurity measures to bolster fleet readiness.  Provide expert assistance in RMF A&A package preparation, submission, and oversight, ensuring compliance with DoD/NAVSEA directives and cybersecurity best practices.  Support Certification Test and Evaluation activities, identifying and mitigating security risks, and ensuring system compliance with all relevant IA controls. 

Minimum Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent.  At least two (2) years of direct experience in cybersecurity roles, with a strong emphasis on eMASS and ACAS operations.  Required certifications: Active CompTIA Security+.  Must meet the IA Workforce Baseline Certification for IAT Level II as per DoD 8570.01-M guidelines.  Secret Security Clearance is mandatory for consideration.
