The Role

Prudential is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Paid Media Specialist to manage and optimize media operations, budget management and campaign execution. This role combines expertise in media planning, financial oversight and operational efficiency to ensure seamless delivery of advertising campaigns across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of media planning and buying, strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate across teams to drive successful outcomes. This position reports directly to the Media Manager/Director and is part of the larger Paid Media team.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis in our Newark, NJ, office. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Act as subject matter expert to formulate cross-channel media plans, including crafting RFPs, negotiating, plan development, IO execution and monitoring campaign performance. Experience in both B2C and B2B is a plusMaintain accurate data inputs for flowcharts and collaborate with analytics teams to compile reporting for media mix modelling projectsCreate traffic sheets, coordinate with ad operations teams to traffic campaigns, and manage pacing, optimizations and impression deliveryOversee media budgets, authorization and billing processes to ensure alignment with organizational goalsManage purchase orders, accruals, and invoice workflows, producing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deliverables to support finance and forecast planningAddress vendor inquiries regarding invoices and reconciliations in collaboration with the broader media teamEnsure accuracy and efficiency in media operations, workflows, and the utilization of media buying systemsCollaborate with internal teams, including vendor governance and legal, to manage media/agency partner onboarding and contractsStay updated on media and industry trends and participate in industry events for continuous learning

Your Expertise

What you’ll need to succeed:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a professional advertising position in agency or publisher environment; at least 3-4 years in related media planning role (developing RFPs; preparing presentations and flowcharts; presenting media plans; preparing and understanding digital ad specs; issuing IOs; working with finance on billing reconciliation) Strong knowledge of integrated media planning and buying across multiple media channels (digital/programmatic, social, print, broadcast, OOH, content publisher partners) Proficiency in various media buying and reporting systems (e.g., Prisma, MediaOcean) and advanced Excel skillsProven ability to manage budgets and timelines while coordinating with cross-functional teamsExceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial and operational processesAbility to independently steward multiple tasks concurrently in a deadline-driven environment and strong time management skillsAbility to manage internal and external relationships and expectations through effective communications and organizational skillsExperience in analysis of data, and ability to convert data into insight-driven campaign reportsAbility to work with minimal direction effectively and efficiently with a solution-oriented mindset, can-do attitudePossess clear, concise, and engaging verbal, written, and presentation skills

What we offer you:Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $90,100.00 to $134,100.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
