Job Summary:Provides efficient, accurate, and effective customer focused communication services to enhance our patients’ experience. Schedules, cancels and reschedules patient appointments. Verifies patient medical insurance eligibility and benefits in a timely manner. Answers telephone calls in a timely manner and when appropriate, screens and transfers calls, takes written messages and routes the message to appropriate location or individual. Properly documents the disposition and outcomes of all calls, following stated protocols. May complete outgoing calls or send written communications to patients. May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: High school or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) years of experience in a call center setting. Experience using typical office systems including personal computers, fax machines, telephones, scanners, copy machines, and using Microsoft Office and Outlook programs.
Preferred Qualifications: Some college course completed in business communication or data entry.
Salary Range: $22.44 - $31.57 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
