The North America - Mexico People Services Specialist is accountable for delivery of intake/escalated tier HR guidance and solutions to People Leaders and Employees in Mexico. You will partner and collaborate closely with all People Team Centers of Excellence for matters requiring COE expertise. The role requires both tactical and excellent execution in a dynamic and demanding environment, that ensures global continuity. The focus is on delivering People services ensuring a strong commitment to internal customer service, quality, and ongoing process improvement.

Additionally, this role involves managing services specific to the region, which necessitates hands-on personal engagement to understand and address localized HR needs effectively. This includes staying attuned to regional cultural nuances, legal requirements, and workforce dynamics to tailor HR solutions accordingly.

This role will also follow the Hybrid 4-day Onsite job requirement. The role will require presence onsite Monday thru Thursday with Friday being a work from home option. Hours will be 8am to 5pm unless otherwise specified by leadership or business need.

International travel may be required for training sessions, meetings, or to collaborate with global teams. This ensures the alignment of practices and strategies across different regions, fostering a cohesive and unified approach.

Responsibilities

Triage incoming People Service Center tickets and emails; research and resolve requests that come in a timely and efficient mannerDeliver day-to-day hands-on work across the People Team spectrum including onboarding, HR policy, total rewards, HR systems questions, and cyclical People initiatives/programsHandle all aspects of the onboarding process, including the preparation and retrieval of necessary documents for new hiresWork as a foundational subject matter expert in all areas of HR and other functions supported by shared services (i.e., payroll, equity, benefits, etc.)Responsible for maintaining the data accuracy/integrity of various people systems and toolsEnsure that HR processes, policies, and tools are applied consistently to contribute to business goalsAnalyze requests and escalate issues to various People Team workgroups when the service center is unable to resolve and serve as a liaison with People Team COE to ensure case resolutionCreate and maintain both physical and electronic employee records, ensuring that all information is up-to-date, accurate, and secureOwn the pre-hire process for Mexico, including initiating any needed background checks and managing the pre-hire tracking tool to ensure data is accurate and teams are prepared for the arrival of new hiresFacilitate day one orientation for new hires, working closely with local leadership and various departments to provide a best-in-class first day experience for new employeesOther duties and special projects as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and equivalent work experience preferred2 years of active HR experience preferred
