Job Description:
As a proposal pricing analyst, you will be joining the L3Harris IMS1 Pricing team supporting the L3Harris Northampton, MA location. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting proposal teams in all aspects of the proposal pricing process. This includes but not limited to RFP analysis, ProPricer (Pricing Software) setup and inputs, working with other functional groups, analyzing pricing data and Basis of Estimates, creating cost and price volumes, supporting internal reviews with management, supporting customer audits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and Government requirements.
Essential Functions:
Ability to contribute from a pricing perspective to the development and execution of a cost proposal plan.Compile cost elements in the development of proposals in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements.Conduct proposal analysis and provide recommendations leading to a current complete and accurate cost or price volumeWork with other functional areas in presenting cost proposal data for approval to functional as well as executive level management.Develop an understanding and ability to implement and mentor internal cost proposal processes and procedures as well as external Government contracting regulations (FAR, CAS and TINA) to co-workers and internal customers.Utilize ProPricer and Microsoft Office to produce meaningful cost models and accurate, timely reportsInterface and support both internal and external customers in support of post-proposal submission audit, fact-finding, and negotiations.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 Years (Finance, Accounting, or Pricing preferred) of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.ProPricer Software pricing tool experience preferred but not required.Demostrated strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel.Demonstrated solid understanding of different contract types such as Fixed Price T&M, Cost- Reimbursement and Incentive Types Experience with International contracting.Demonstrated ability to articulate oral and written to individual contributors, management up to and including corporate executives, and customers.Preferred Additional Skills:
