Job Description:

Works directly with Program Management team to ensure key quality deliverables are met.Responsible for the creation, development and implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and system compliance to contractual and regulatory requirements. Assist in analysis of reported nonconformities and discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical systems, field and clinical data. Further investigates the cause for discrepancies and nonconformities to develop disposition and recommend corrective action plans. Active in material review board (MRB) and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Conducts program quality cost account management. Serves as a key interface to customers for quality related matters. Works under general supervision while being responsible for entire projects or processes within job area. Providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.Must be a U.S. Citizen 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar and minimum 4 years of prior relevant Quality Control experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior Quality Control experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Ability to execute successful continuous improvement projects with a stong team dynamic in a regulated industry.A thorough understanding of RCCA and associated methods and toolsOne or more certifications in Quality Sciences such as Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, ISO/AS9100, SPC, ASQ certified engineer/manager/auditor, or similar.Blueprint, Technical Order, and Maintenance Manual comprehension and application strongly desired.Strong computer skills
