Job Summary

This position will be responsible for the management of product registrations, product compliance or product safety and risk assessment for IFF Health & Biosciences portfolio (Food Biosciences, Grain Processing and Animal Nutrition & Health) in South Korea. This role is also expected to work closely with IFF global, regional & country regulatory affairs team, and business stakeholders, to achieve IFF objectives.

The responsibilities will be progressing over time, and include (but are not limited to) the following:

Prepares product registration dossiers for new approvals & renewals, monitors and follows up process.Maintains expert knowledge on local regulatory procedures to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements and timelines are met.Develops and maintains relationships with relevant regional competent authorities and trade associations.Maintains a close interaction with country and regional business teams to identify needs, align on regional objectives and prioritize the efforts, while incorporating global needs.May evaluate regulatory implications of product and process changes.Provides regional strategic input to global strategies and innovation. Is responsible for regional execution of global strategies in alignment with regional commercial teams.

Qualifications:

Education

MS or above with 2+ years’ relevant experience.Good knowledge of scientific principles and practices related to registration of enzyme products, which may include molecular biology, toxicology and applicable general scientific methods in R&D, Quality or Environmental Sciences.

Languages

Fluent language skills in Korean (native) and good English language skills

Technical Competencies

Ability to prepare complete and accurate dossiers and submissions for animal nutrition products, food enzymes & cultures and grain processing enzymes.Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills.Ability to function in multidisciplinary environment.Ability to interpret guidelines and regulations applicable to animal feed products, food enzymes & cultures, and grain processing enzymes.Knowledge of regulatory requirements for general food, and/or food biotechnology products in Japan, and knowledge of scientific methodology in general.Proven track record of being a strong team player and consistent proactive & interpreting attitude towards customers’ issues.Reasonable competency in computer / software needed for the position.
