Specialist, Sales Training Senior

Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Energy Sales Enablement team. We are looking for a Sales Training Specialist to coordinate, manage and execute the current sales training programs and develop strategies for implementing improved sales performance. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and the ability to make sound decisions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, expert selling, interviewing, and presentation/trainings skill, with a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently and on self-directed tasks are necessary.

Candidates residing in the Midwest will be given preference. 

Responsibilities Coordinate, manage and execute the current sales training programs and progress strategies for implementing improved sales performance to include:Management of and continuous development of sales onboarding programs.Development and administration of tiered continuous training programs for entire salesforce.Complete 10 to 20 yearly Certified Energy Specialist (CES) sales personnel one on one Training Ride A Long’s in each salesperson’s territory. Develop standardize program that will help new CES’s and underperforming CES’s. Effectively creating understanding of territory, Pitch, and proper customer engagement techniques to build relationships.Expand, develop, and deliver curriculum of industry sales content for a varied audience that increases customer engagement, sales proficiency and volumes sold.Develop and administer assessments at each sales tier training level to properly build and engage salesforce.Research sales topics: generate content: produce audio and written materials as needed; recording, editing, and publishing.Coordinate administrative duties as it relates to the Energy Sales Enablement team.Travel to customer sites to deliver training 50-60% of their time.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Minimum Qualifications (required) High School diploma or GED4+ years of experience in Training and/or Learning and DevelopmentAdditional Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Business Administration, Communications, or related fieldStrong verbal and written communication as well as presentation skillsAbility to work as a team and individuallyCollaborative process agentIndividual must be highly motivated to increase and improve sales programs for the next generation of Certified Energy SpecialistExperience in energy industry preferredStrong leadership and project management skills Hybrid position with the ability to attend team meetings as neededIndividual will be required to travel 50-60% of their timePre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
