Day to Day Responsibilities:

Invoice management. To collect the utility invoices, includes but not limited, Electricity, Natural Gas, Water, CDA, and Industrial Gas, etc. from each site across Asia. To stay in touch with the contact person in each plant to avoid liaison missing. Assist Energy Consultant to resolve issues relating to invoice contents. Organize and archive the invoices on the share-drive. Enter the invoices data into spreadsheet for ready use. Market Intelligence and Forecast To adopt the historical data and 18-month tank plan, etc., resources to make proper consumption projection. Check and closely monitor commodity price info, such as crude oil and LNG price in Taiwan and Korea, etc. to forecast electricity and natural gas unit price and to make saving forecast and calculation on the regular basis.\ Learn and understand China energy market, making forecast of electricity and natural gas price for all Corning plants in China. To utilize the information, such as Power Factor and Load Factor to make most economical forecast on demand capacity and share it with facility people to optimize the energy usage. Saving Tracker Management PCM submission: update actual invoices data in the files for all Asia sites. CA & VA submission: Identify the opportunity and then to prepare the data. Send the preliminary submission data to supervisor for reviewing and revising. Enter submissions into system and send out for approval and make correction based on Category manager instruction. Preparing data to explain what the variance from previous system closure is. To answer questions brought by BSM or business Finance controller. Contract Management Assist sourcing manager and work with CCOE team to manage all contract Ariba upload and approval process. Advise sourcing manager and related parties whenever contract renewal is required and facilitate the arrangement for contract negotiation. Support Budgeting Process (GB and BB) To communicate with each plant to get the consumption projection for next year. To verify the consumption data to make sure this is reasonable. Consolidate data and send out to our energy consultant for GB and BB preparation. To discuss and modify the data with our energy consultant making sure the correctness of price and COM estimation.
